Just someīest simulator is Mazyna EU07, good graphics, good realism. In trainz they are too quiet and unrealistic.

Stop bashing OpenBve, they made a free software, and I personally enjoy it much more than trainz because of their real life sounds. On the Trainz side, Auran/N3V should really improve the driving experience and sounds. Here is a site for Polish rolling stock and routes for OpenBve, these are excellent as well: Some of the Japanese, Hungarian and UK are the best out there for OpenBve, so if you like US stuff it's not pretty great as it doesn't have too much stuff from there. (If you don't believe me look at the screenshots)

These are all high quality lines (far better in graphics than New York subway) with great sounds. High quality underground/metro would be the Budapest metro, japanese metro, and Hong Kong transit. These are pretty low quality in graphics terms.

This defines additional characteristics that are not covered by the other files. There are better routes on OpenBve than the New York subway. For information on how to create plugins, see here. This file defines which external train plugin to use. The built-in safety systems ATS-SN, ATS-P and ATC are only used if no ats.cfg file is present, and if the train.dat is configured to define which of these systems should be available. The file is required if plugin-specific sounds are to be made available. This defines the names of the sound files to use. If no sound.cfg is present, these are the default sound files that are being looked for in the train folder. It has been fully superseded by the panel2.cfg file, which should be used instead. This file is outdated, and allows to create a limited 2D cab. The panel2.cfg has fully superseded the panel.cfg as it offers greater functionality. If present in the train folder, this file has precedence over the panel.cfg. This file allows to create a limited 2D cab. If present in the train folder, this file has precedence over the panel2.cfg and panel.cfg files. This file allows to create a fully 3D cab. This is the core configuration file for the train’s characteristics, and is mandatory. The following is an overview on which files are required and what they represent. Trains consist of a series of individual configuration files accompanied by bitmaps and sounds.
